Why i identify as a WHITE person

A YouTube comment denying his English identity upset him; he argues nationality and ethnicity are separate despite his Asian appearance. He identifies as half white and half Asian, but culturally English/British after lifelong UK upbringing; Chinese/Malaysian influence was limited. Bullying over Asian features began around ages 8–10, worsened at puberty, and reinforced his feeling of not belonging.

He resists appearance-based identity labels, prioritizing lived culture, language, values, and national belonging.
