In 2009, anime-focused Japanese learner Daniel hosted Saki, 17–18; he quickly wanted romance, but her shyness and boyfriend thwarted expectations. Saki’s visit included Japanese conversations, computer-room attraction, a London outing, and videos lost after his explicit YouTube channel was terminated. In 2011, Kumi stayed longer after snow canceled Germany plans; activities ended after he read her Skype criticism and withdrew.
