Why I Regret Buying The Switch OLED

Bought the nearly £300 Switch OLED for upcoming backpacking in Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan after finding the Steam Deck disappointing. The OLED screen is better, but performance remains Switch Lite-level; eShop startup and page loading are painfully slow. He likes the slim body and kickstand, but finds non-Nintendo games limited; the equally priced Steam Deck offers far stronger games and functionality.

Travel-driven gadget buying again fails to resolve his underlying entertainment needs.
