The Long Journey Home

After hotel checkout, Daniel travels by train with souvenirs and a heavy bag, returning to his shared room. He reunites with his wife; the automatic feeder emptied fish food, while he packs cameras, an iPad, cables, batteries, and underwear. They exchange Christmas presents, including a sweater and ¥4,000 sweets; Daniel says this is their first Christmas without his father.
