Setting Up New Fish tank

Daniel and his wife set up a goldfish tank; fish cost about ¥1,000, while the complete setup totalled roughly ¥12,000. They washed and assembled the tank, gravel, light, plant, filter, dechlorinator and bacteria, then floated the bag for twenty minutes. The fish received playful names, and they learned feeding, weekly water changes, and six-to- eight-hour lighting requirements.

The costly project quickly became tedious, reinforcing Daniel’s impatience and preference for gaming.
