GoPro Hero7 review - does it suck

Daniel bought a £340 GoPro Hero7 Black instead of an £800 Samsung S10, seeking an affordable wide-angle replacement for his ageing LG G5. Testing finds strong stabilization, excellent audio, wide fields of view, and compact waterproof construction, but distortion, poor close focus, tiny screen, and no tripod thread. Startup, screen timeout, SD-card formatting, and file-transfer friction frustrate him; battery falls from 100% to 71% under five minutes and 55% after ten.
