A planned multi-day London stay with his mother and wife lasted one night; shopping was followed by returning to his parents’ home. He says England worsens his anxiety, describing London, Maidstone, and Canterbury as intimidating, rude, noisy, disorderly, and less civil than Japan. Parents’ rural internet runs at roughly 2 Mbps down and 1–1.5 up, disrupting livestreaming, uploads, and Mario Kart; he calls it disgraceful.

The visit reverses homesickness: Japan feels preferable again, while family remains England’s only meaningful attraction.
