Time to say goodbye

After a two-week Malaysia stay, Daniel and his wife check out, visit relatives’ chicken-rice restaurant, and head to the airport. They eat McDonald’s and wait at the airport until evening for their 10 p.m. flight back to Japan. They say goodbye to family, with another visit planned for December; Daniel notices the sudden quiet without his mother.
